Professional Background - Dr. Markus Brem
At the beginning of his professional career Markus Brem
was visiting professor at the Kobe University (Japan) as well as
in the International Tax Program of Harvard Law School (USA). Dr. Brem received his doctoral degree from the
Humboldt Universität of Berlin (Germany).
Today, Dr. Brem counts over a decade of transfer pricing project experience
across industries and countries. He was affiliated with KPMG, Nera Economic
Consulting GmbH and Dr. Voegele & Partner
Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.
He is founding partner of GTP GlobalTransferPricing Business Solutions GmbH.
Dr. Brem has been teaching transfer pricing at universities like the
Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, University of Augsburg,
Kobe University, and Harvard Law School, the Academy of European
Law Trier (ERA).
He is co-author of the second edition of „Handbuch der Verrechnungspreise“ published by C.H. Beck Verlag.
He is member of the Supervisory Board of a regional financial institute.
Dr. Brem has worked and lived in Canada, the Czech Republic, Japan, the USA, Korea, and India, Ecuador, and Nepal.
He is married and has three children.
Professional Background - Dipl.-Vw. Thomas Tucha
After his studies in the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg/Brsg. (Germany) Mr. Tucha started his post-academic career
as business consultant at Plaut Consulting GmbH (Munich). The move towards transfer pricing resulted in professional engagements
at KPMG, Nera Economic Consulting GmbH and Dr. Vögele & Partner Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.
In 2007, he became founding partner of GTP GlobalTransferPricing Business Solutions GmbH.
His focus is on strategic transfer pricing analyses and documentation
with particular reference to
IT solutions. He published numerous
articles on transfer pricing in national and international journals.
Mr. Tucha has close to 15 years of transfer pricing experience
in consulting and IT solutions.
